Our age range was from 16-24 as it will contain graphic images, that would not be suitable for kids, and we will aim it at our age, because we know what people in our age demographic like and dislike.
I felt that due to the our last production being an action, the film opening restricted our options and that we couldn't use certain shots or techniques that would have been used by Hollywood directors and actors as they had a lot of money (and we could not afford a big budget). We all decided to collaborate again, as FNK as we really enjoyed each others company, and I thought that we worked especially hard together. We have already had a few ideas and at the moment, we are creating a prezi for all of our ideas put together, which has been posted above.
The ancillary tasks that we have decided to do are a film poster and a film magazine cover. We have had a few ideas for our Ancillary tasks, and i have begun by looking into the different types of film magazines and how they are laid about. In the next post, i will be analysing these magazines closely, as to how they are laid out and what colours seem to be used a lot for a horror/thriller magazine. Already we see that the colours of the picture contrast to the colour of the writing.
To the right, is a magazine of a student, who has set up her own blog here also for her media coursework. I will compare both of these posters, and create some general ideas about the posters, and what they both contain, and how my magazine cover will show both of these themes, to attract our audience.
